Mortgage Comparison: UK: London vs France: Paris!

Today's daily mortgage comparison! Giving you an idea of mortgage comparisons from all around the world ;D

Now here we have the UK, city of London!,
London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom, the largest metropolitan area in the United Kingdom and the largest urban zone in the European Union by most measures. London has been a major settlement for two millennia, its history going back to its founding by the Romans, who called it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its square-mile medieval boundaries. Since at least the 17th century, the name London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core.

And here we have France, the city of Paris!
Paris is the capital and largest city in France, situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region. The city of Paris, within its administrative limits largely unchanged since 1860, has an estimated population of 2,193,031 (January 2007), but the Paris metropolitan area has a population of 11,836,970 (January 2007), and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe.

So theres the facts guys, the UK has more expensive mortgage prices on average but both cities have a completely different feel to them, very close geographically aswell, where would you rather live? ;D

  6. The French say we have crap food, you know what I say? They will never know the pleasure of coming home as a 14 year old boy, find out your getting beans on toast and then looking into the tin and going "oh hello, theres little sausages in there!"

    UK is more expensive for a reason!

  14. I would so love to live in France! The birthplace of modern democracy and the nation state. I think they understand real freedom like no one else on earth.

  17. I always knew that housing in the UK is expensive, but daaamn! I've been in Paris and it's the most expensive city I've ever been. Also, the absolutely, hands down, most beautiful city in the planet.

    I'd live there in a heartbeat.
