So lets kick things off with Tunisia, the city of Tunis!,
Tunis is the capital of both Tunisia and the Tunis Governorate. It is Tunisia's largest city, with a population of 728,453 as of 2004; the greater metropolitan area holds some 2,412,500 inhabitants.
Average House Price: £90,200
Average Mortgage: £104,000
VS
And here we have Libya, the city of Tripoli!
Tripoli has a population of 1,065,405 (2006 census). The city is located in the northwest of the country on the edge of the desert, on a point of rocky land projecting into the Mediterranean Sea and forming a bay. Tripoli was founded in the 7th century BC by the Phoenicians, who named it Oea.
Average House Price: £63,000
Average Mortgage: £70,300
So theres the facts guys, Libya is the cheaper place to live but you'd have to put up with Gaddafi supressing your democracy on a daily basis, where would you prefer to live? ;D
Damn son thats some mighty fine mortgage comparisons, I was having much trouble deciding whether i should move to Libya or Tunisia but thanks to this superbe comparison I've now decided to move to Libya with my wife and four children.
